What influences the plasticizing quality of plastic plate equipment?

Plastic plate production equipment is the production technology equipment required by plastic product manufacturers. When actually using this equipment, we must pay more attention to the factors that affect its plasticization quality.

The main factors affecting the plasticizing quality of plastic board equipment are length diameter ratio, compression ratio, double pressure, screw speed, heating temperature, etc.

Ⅰ.Length diameter ratio: the ratio of the effective length of the screw to the diameter of the screw

1. The length-diameter ratio is large, and the materials melt and mix evenly;

2. For plastics with better thermal stability, a longer screw can be used to improve mixing without burning. For plastic materials with relatively poor thermal stability, a shorter screw or screw structure with no thread at the end can be used.

Ⅱ.Compression ratio: the ratio of the depth of the thread groove in the feeding part to the depth of the thread groove in the metering part

1. Considering the compressibility of materials, filling degree, reflux, and other effects, the products should be dense, heat transfer and exhaust;

2. A proper compression ratio can increase the density of plastic, make the binding between molecules more compact, help to reduce air absorption, reduce the temperature rise caused by pressure, and affect the difference in output. Improper compression ratio will destroy the physical properties of plastic;

3.The higher the compression ratio,the higher the temperature of the plastic in the plasticization process,and a better mixing uniformity of the plastic in the plasticization process.

4. The high compression ratio is suitable for nonfusible plastics, especially those with low melt viscosity and thermal stability, and the low compression ratio is suitable for fusible plastics, especially those with high melt viscosity and heat sensitivity.

Ⅲ.Double pressure

1. Increasing the double pressure can increase the work done by the screw on the molten resin, eliminate the unmelted plastic particles, and increase the analysis of the mass density of raw materials in the material pipe and the degree of uniform distribution change;

2. The back pressure is used to increase the pipe temperature, and its effect is remarkable;

3.If the double pressure is too high,it is easy to decompose the plastic with high heat sensitivity.If the double pressure is too low,the injection molded product may have bubbles.

Ⅳ.Screw speed

1. The screw speed directly affects the shearing of plastic in the spiral groove;

2. The small screw groove is shallow and absorbs the heat source quickly, which is enough to make the plastic soften during the compression period. The cost of heat energy generated by the friction between the screw and the barrel wall is low. It is suitable for high-speed rotation of the technology to increase the plasticizing capacity;

3. The large screw should not rotate rapidly to avoid uneven plasticization and high friction heat;

4. For plastics with high heat sensitivity, if the working speed of the screw is too high, the plastics will be easily decomposed;

5. Generally, each size of the screw has a certain speed range, and the general speed is 100 or 150 rpm; The plastic cannot be melted, and if it is too high, the plastic will be burned.

Ⅴ.Electrothermal temperature setting

1. Melt the chilled plastic remaining in the barrel and the screw to facilitate the rotation of the screw, and provide a part of the heat required for the partial melting of the plastic;

2.Reduce the melt temperature by 5°or 10°(partly provided by frictional heat);

3. The adjustment of the nozzle temperature can also be used to control problems such as salivation, condensate(plug nozzle), and wire pulling;

4. Generally, the working temperature of crystalline plastics is controlled.

Therefore, when we use plastic board production equipment, we must pay attention to the fact that students can take risk prevention and control measures in advance through these important factors that affect its plasticization,so as to avoid the plasticization quality of the equipment not reaching the standard.
